HIV funding campaign - rest of the UK
We can end new cases of HIV by 2030. The UK Government has promised to make this a reality but to get there it must be fully funded and have an ambitious plan.
In October 2021, the Chancellor will announce the Government's spending plans for the next three years - this must include money to win the fight against HIV and support everyone living with HIV.
Proper funding and a proper plan are what is urgently needed - we will only get one chance to get both these right.
New money for the HIV Action Plan in England will automatically provide additional health funding to the devolved governments, our hope is they would use this to deliver the 2030 HIV goal.
We're calling for everyone who backs the goal of ending new cases of HIV to write to the Chancellor and Health Secretary and get them to make the decisions that can help to make history. You are welcome to edit the letter to personalise it if you like. A copy of the letter will also be sent to your local MP, so they can raise the issue in Parliament too.
Please take action today.
